Available in late 2007, a company related to Polaroid called Zinc Imaging has developed a hand-held printer that integrates with cell phones and digital cameras.
Apparently, the printer does away with ink by changing the color of the paper when heat is applied. Don't ask me how it works, or how they fit the paper in the mini-printer, but its really cool.

And in the future, my guess is that they will eventually integrate NEARLY EVERYTHING: expect a phone/camera/video/printer/computer hybrid. Then we can be REALLY successful, if you aren't already. (A little humor here).

wow, that's a nice gadget.. i probably wouldn't buy it though, but it's interesting! i rarely print pics or documents, but it could still be useful to some! :)
yeah, i agree--it's pretty wild. I wonder if it would be practical for those in the real estate or home inspection field, besides just being a fun gadget.
